SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Arrowhead General Insurance Agency Inc. has hired Gerald "Gerry" Cecil as vice president of sales and marketing for its automotive aftermarket program. Cecil brings more than 20 years of insurance experience to the program.
 
Prior to joining Arrowhead, Cecil was programs practice leader at Willis Programs, where he managed sales, marketing and distribution and developed broker relationships. He also held a variety of positions with Zurich in North America, including account executive and business development director for the company’s global automotive industry practice.
 
As vice president of sales and marketing with Arrowhead’s Automotive Aftermarket Program, Cecil manages and develops program, association, franchise and industry relationships. In addition, he will focus on generating and managing business with larger, loss-sensitive accounts. He will also lead market research efforts as well as develop strategic direction for the program.
 
Cecil is a regular contributor to trade publications and provides presentations to association members and groups to enhance their knowledge of insurance and risk management decision-making. He holds the Chartered Property and Casualty, Associate in Risk Management and Certified Insurance Counselor designations.
