Davis Appointed Interim Chairman Of APRA Asia Pacific Division

Davis has been an active member of APRA having served as chairman of APRA in 2010. He also has been a member of the APRA board of directors since 2006. Davis served as the chairman of APRA's Electrical Division for several years prior to coming on the APRA Board. Davis also serves on the current Electrical Division Board of Governors and is instrumental in planning the program of activities for the division.

CHANTILLY, Va. – George Davis has been appointed to act as interim chairman of the Asia Pacific Division of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA). He was appointed to the role by the association’s executive committee, according to APRA President Bill Gager.
 
Davis has been an active member of APRA having served as chairman of APRA in 2010. He also has been a member of the APRA board of directors since 2006. Davis served as the chairman of APRA’s Electrical Division for several years prior to coming on the APRA Board. Davis also serves on the current Electrical Division Board of Governors and is instrumental in planning the program of activities for the division.
 
Davis started in the remanufacturing business in 1978 as a rebuilder for Precision Alternator and Starter in Merrifield, Va. He has also worked for Remy International, World Wide Automotive and other companies within the industry. Currently, he is managing director for G.H. Davis LLC, a company that provides consulting in formal quality systems and Lean Six Sigma.
 
Davis will serve as interim chairman of the Asia Pacific Division until such time as someone from that region is appointed to the role.
