Neapco Promotes Two, Names New Executive To Support International Expansion

James Geisendorfer was named to the new position of president, Neapco Asia. Also promoted was Gerald Coster, vice president for global manufacturing and purchasing for Neapco Holdings. In addition, Arvind Srinivasan has joined Neapco Holdings as vice president, global engineering.

BELLEVILLE, Mich. – Neapco Holdings has announced the promotion of two global executives and the appointment of a new global executive to accelerate the company’s plans for international expansion.
 
Neapco is a leading global manufacturer of automotive driveshafts/halfshafts, propeller shafts, differentials, suspension springs, aluminum die castings, and driveline and steering components for original equipment, performance and aftermarket companies. With 2,200 employees, it operates production facilities in Michigan and Nebraska in the U.S., and in Mexico, Poland, Germany and China.
 
James Geisendorfer was named to the new position of president, Neapco Asia. He has extensive experience in product development, business planning, sales and marketing, and new business acquisition. Previously, he was vice president of global sales and marketing, Neapco Holdings. In his new role, Geisendorfer will be based in Shanghai, China, and will lead the company’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific market.
 
Also promoted was Gerald Coster, vice president for global manufacturing and purchasing for Neapco Holdings. He previously served as Neapco’s vice president of global supply chain management. Coster has more than 30 years of automotive experience in operations, process improvement, quality systems and strategic planning. In this new role, his focus will be on integrating and optimizing Neapco’s manufacturing processes worldwide and leveraging its global supply base.
 
"In this new position, Gerry will enhance the company’s ability to deliver value to all our customers worldwide," said Neapco Chief Operating Officer Bob Mangini. "His vast expertise in standardizing operations and in supply chain management will help us maximize total company value in all of our operations."
 
In addition, Arvind Srinivasan has joined Neapco Holdings as vice president, global engineering. He brings to his new position extensive design and product development experience with automotive suppliers such as American Axle, Visteon and Dana, and he has been awarded several patents. He earned two mechanical engineering degrees: a master of science from the University of Toledo in Ohio, and a bachelor of science from the National Institute of Technology in India.
