Multi Parts Supply Names Operations Director

Nelson Bao joins global aftermarket auto parts developer and manufacturer.

JUPITER, Fla. —  Multi Parts Supply announced that Nelson Bao has joined the 25-year aftermarket auto parts supplier as operations director at its facility in China. Bao will oversee plant operations, purchasing, materials management and logistics, the company says.

Bao brings more than a decade of experience in supply chain management and function, focusing predominately on material planning, customer service and facility management. Notably, Bao has held strategic positions with several leading OEM automotive parts suppliers, including Delphi and Autoliv. He also established national auto parts retailer Pep Boys’ China third-party logistics (“3PL”) distribution facility. Bao holds a masters degree in logistics management from the University of Wales.

“Key to our ability to expeditiously fulfill opportunity, while maintaining the absolute highest standard of quality in each of our facilities is recruiting and retaining highly skilled and talented team members who share our philosophy,” said MPS President Brian S. Cohn. “Nelson’s hiring is the culmination of an exhaustive search. We found the professional for the job, and one who suits our team dynamic perfectly.”

MPS’ global teams continually work in concert to achieve and maintain consistency and quality across all facilities, processes and products. A privately held American company, Multi Parts Supply is a developer and manufacturer of aftermarket auto parts for full-line manufacturers and their leading global brands. Headquartered in Jupiter, Fla., MPS has a fully integrated global network of manufacturing facilities, testing laboratories, logistics, quality control and customer support facilities in Florida, New York, Europe and China.
