SKF Receives 2012 Supplier Of The Year Award From General Motors

This is the third consecutive year SKF has earned the honor.

GOTHENBURG, Sweden – SKF Sealing Solutions Korea Co. Ltd. has received the GM Supplier of the Year award for the third consecutive year.
 
“SKF Sealing Solutions Korea Co. Ltd helped play a critical role in GM’s success in 2012 through their dedication and commitment to consistently exceed our expectations by being innovative, delivering high quality products and services on time and by creating outstanding value,” said Grace Lieblein, GM vice president, global purchasing and supply chain. “We are thrilled to recognize SKF Sealing Solutions Korea Co. Ltd, who we consider to be a world-class supplier.”
 
GM’s Supplier of the Year (SOY) award, which began as a global program in 1992, recognizes the contributions of GM’s suppliers as part of the company’s global product and performance achievement. For the 2012 award, GM selected 83 global suppliers, representing GM’s view of the best the automotive industry has to offer in innovative technology, superior quality, outstanding launch support, crisis management and competitive total enterprise cost solutions.  
 
"Receiving this award again from GM really proves how strong our commitment is in delivering what our customers need," said Tryggve Sthen, president, SKF Automotive.
