SKF USA Inc. And Poul Jeppesen To Receive Business Entrepreneurial Award From Swedish-American Chamber Of Commerce-Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA – The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce-Philadelphia (SACC-Philadelphia) has selected SKF USA Inc. and its CEO and President Poul Jeppesen, to receive SACC-Philadelphia’s annual business entrepreneurial award. The award, created in 2010 by SACC-Philadelphia, recognizes companies and individuals who have made a significant contribution to the exchange of trade and commerce between the Philadelphia Region and Scandinavia, and important contributions toward innovation, corporate social responsibility and sustainable business practices.

Jeppesen added, "I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of SKF USA Inc. and our many giving employees who are active in the Philadelphia community and have contributed to numerous organizations including the Starfinder Foundation, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross.  Just this week, through a matching program inspired by our own employees, SKF was able to send more than $11,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Drive in support of the losses incurred by Superstorm Sandy in November."
