WAIglobal Announces Appointment of George Cao as President of China Operations

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – WAIglobal has announced the appointment of George Cao as president of WAI China. Cao will oversee all of WAIglobal’s China operations and comes to WAIglobal with more than two decades of executive leadership experience. Most recently, Cao served as president and CEO of a publically traded Chinese automotive conglomerate with revenues near $1 billion USD.
 
Doug Moul, president and COO, commented, “The addition of George Cao reflects WAIglobal’s full commitment to expanding its business interests in the Eastern hemisphere. Cao’s focus will be on the development of additional product lines sourced and manufactured in China for worldwide distribution, the expansion of our electronics and unit sales into the local China market and strategic China acquisitions and joint ventures.”
 
WAIglobal is a manufacturer and distributor providing the aftermarket with 100 percent new alternators, starters and components covering automotive, heavy-duty, industrial, agricultural, powersports, marine and outdoor power equipment markets. Other product lines offered by WAIglobal include ignition distributors, leads and coils; wiper motors and engine management products.
