What was your first job in the industry?

My first job in the industry was working for my father at a young age in the family auto parts business in Medina, Ohio. Our business was a combination auto parts store/gas station. I did everything from pumping gas, oil changes, counterperson, delivery, etc. Whatever it took.

What do you like best about your current position?

It is very nice to be part of the decision-making processes that happen within the organization. There is a great camaraderie and true team effort that goes into making sure that the customer is the priority along with providing a top-quality product offering. What’s not to like?

Did you initially intend to pursue a career in the aftermarket?

Not really. In my family, this is what we did. We worked for dad. Which turned out to be a very rewarding career path for me in many ways. Thanks dad!

If not, what drew you to the industry and what keeps you here?

This business gets into your blood. “Once you are in, there is no getting out (ha, ha).” The relationships are what keeps me here. I have known some of these people for over 30 years. We all speak the same language. We are all attached in some way, kind of like a family.

What do you do when not at work?

I enjoy my family time, exercise frequently, sports, work on my historic home, muscle cars.

What one word best sums up your personality?

Optimistic

What kind of car do you drive?

2017 GMC Sierra All Terrain X

Who was your childhood hero?

The Outlaw Josey Wales (Clint Eastwood)

Favorite quote/mantra/motto?
