Contest at Yokohama MATS boothSANTA ANA, Calif. – Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) attendees will have a chance to win great prizes – including a $5,000 vacation giveaway and iPad Air tablets – at Yokohama Tire Corp.’s (YTC) newly designed booth (no. 14124) at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky. MATS is taking place there March 26-28.

In order to enter the vacation giveaway, MATS visitors must stop by YTC’s booth to have their badge scanned and entered in a ballot box. The drawing will be held at noon on Saturday, March 28. The winner need not be present to be awarded a $5,000 travel gift certificate, good for any vacation of their choice.

YTC also will be giving away three iPad Air tablets – one each day – during MATS in a fun “selfie” contest. “This year, we’re encouraging MATS participants to get social by entering in our selfie contest via Instagram or Twitter,” said Rick Phillips, YTC vice president of sales. “Come by and pick up a Yokohama trucker hat and post a selfie with the hashtag #IAMYokohama and you’ll be eligible to win an iPad Air.”

Winners will be announced at 4 p.m. on March 26-27, and at 1:30 p.m. on March 28.

“Our booth truly will be ‘buzz central’ at the show,” said Phillips. “Besides the contests, attendees can see all of our SmartWay-verified low rolling resistance tires, including the 101ZL Spec-2 and 709ZL, as well as hear about the latest developments from our new commercial tire plant in Mississippi. It’ll be a very exciting show.”
