GASTONIA, NC — WIX Filtration Products was presented with the 2003 CARQUEST Vendor of the Year award and two Order Fill Awards in recognition of its impressive ship-and-fill rates, outstanding marketing programs and customer service. WIX is the exclusive manufacturer of CARQUEST’s Premium Blue and Red Filter lines.

Todd Hack, CARQUEST vice president, presented WIX with the award at the CARQUEST Spring Meeting, March 25, in Raleigh, N.C.

The 2003 CARQUEST Order Fill Award marks the fourth consecutive year WIX has been the recipient of this award. Additionally, WIX is now a three-time recipient (1992, 1995 and 2003) of CARQUEST’s Vendor of the Year Award.

CARQUEST’s Vendor of the Year is selected based on high order fills and fast turn-around times, marketing programs offered, superior factory representation and a strong relationship between the vendor and CARQUEST headquarters. To qualify for CARQUEST’s Order Fill Award, product must be shipped to CARQUEST Distribution Centers at a rate of 95 percent or better every month.
