SURVEY RESULTS: Three-Quarters of AMN Readers Will Attend Virtual Events This Year

Only one quarter said they have no plans to attend virtual events in 2009.

More and more organizations are turning to virtual events as a cutting-edge way to cut costs for participants. For last week’s AMN Survey, we asked readers if they plan to attend any virtual events (tradeshows, group meetings, educational/training seminars) this year. A resounding 75 percent said yes. Only one quarter said they have no plans to attend virtual events in 2009.

One such example of the increasingly popular virtual events will be this year’s Aftermarket eForum, which for the first time in its history will be conducted entirely online. The Aftermarket eForum, slated for Sept. 30, will be conducted completely online through a virtual event portal powered by ON24 of San Francisco (www.on24.com). For more information about the event, go to: www.aftermarketeforum.com.
