Standard Motor Products Selects TFI Envision For Brand Repositioning, Annual Report

The process included extensive industry research; refinement of its target customers/consumers; development of an updated brand wheel and brand positioning statement, as well as review and recommendations of SMP's leading brands portfolio strategy.

TFI Envision was selected by Standard Motor Products Inc. (SMP) to review and refresh the company’s overall brand positioning as a leader in engine management, says the company. The process included extensive industry research; refinement of its target customers/consumers; development of an updated brand wheel and brand positioning statement, as well as review and recommendations of SMP’s leading brands portfolio strategy.

In addition, SMP selected TFI Envision Inc. to develop its 2017 annual report. This is the sixth consecutive year of TFI Envision designing the SMP Annual Report.

TFI Envision developed the overall thematic for the annual report – “Driven for the Future.” To visually represent the strength of the SMP brand, the breadth of its product offering, SMP’s dedication to technological advancement and its global presence, TFI Envision created a futuristic honeycomb structure graphic superimposed over a world map for the cover, emphasizing the idea that the honeycomb is valued for its uncommon strength and its structural efficiency. This honeycomb graphic theme is carried through the annual report to tie it all together.

The full annual report is available online here.
