The new brand identity is designed to highlight Pylon’s continued commitment to manufacturing quality automotive products. Pylon President Bart Plaumann said the change emphasizes the company’s pride and long history in producing wiper blades, and its future commitment to producing innovative automotive products in other categories.

According to Plaumann, the new brand focuses on three pillars of the company’s success:
“Clearly building a legacy.” Pylon was founded in 1968 and has been a leading aftermarket supplier in the automotive industry for nearly 50 years. Its long history includes consistently developing and engineering new and innovative wiper blades that are efficient and perform better.
“Clearly building a tradition of quality.” Pylon has a team of engineers that develop and test beam, conventional and hybrid wiper blades and other automotive products. The company has developed more than 70 patents, including the patented suspension technology in Michelin hybrid wiper blades with Smart-Flex design. Pylon’s focus on research, development and assessment ensures that products perform in real-world situations, allowing clear vision and safe driving even in the harshest weather.
