The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide will host a business development webinar that will focus on helping MACS members to work with their local media, develop a proactive plan and cultivate a crisis management strategy for their dealings with news media.
On Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. EST, Paul Gluck, associate professor of the Temple University School of Media and Communication, a 39-year broadcast veteran will share his expert advice on working with members’ local newspapers, radio stations, TV stations or cable access stations.
Topics will include:
- Making friends with local media
- Writing a good news release that gets noticed
- How to become the local go-to expert on your business niche for media reference
- Damage control in a crisis
“MACS members are typically leaders in their local community in addition to the mobile A/C industry. We feel this business development webinar will help them navigate the media mix in their community and help them excel,” said Elvis Hoffpauir, MACS president and chief operating officer.
MACS will broadcast this interactive hour-long webinar live on the MACS YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/MACSWorldwide
MACS members can view the webinar for $25; non-members can attend for $75.
