LEWISVILLE, Texas – The Four Seasons “Opening Day” promotion will award $20 Lids gift cards to professional service technicians who install an SMP Temp Deslugger now through March 31, 2015.
To enter, technicians can download an electronic promotion scorecard at www.2015desluggerpromo.com or contact a local account sales manager for more details. Completed scorecards, along with the required proof of purchase, can either be scanned and uploaded to www.2015desluggerpromo.com or they can be mailed to the address on the scorecard. Limit one gift card per technician.

When the vehicle sits, oil and liquid refrigerant collect in the compressor body. The result can be hydraulic lock with catastrophic compressor damage, according to Four Seasons. The Deslugger solves this liquid slugging problem by pulsing the compressor clutch multiple times during initial engagement. By gradually engaging the compressor, trapped liquid is gently moved out, preventing catastrophic hydraulic damage, the company says. Once the brief deslugging function is complete, the compressor reverts to normal cycling operation until the system has been off again for more than 30 minutes.
Four Seasons offers the Deslugger for 2002-’06 Honda CRVs with a scroll compressor or with applications using a two wire lead coil, the GM Deslugger, which covers 2000-’09 GM applications with DENSO 10S models and the Chrysler/Dodge Deslugger for Chrysler Voyager and Dodge Caravan applications with DENSO 10S models.
