Continental Automotive Systems Inc., Hamaton Automotive Technology Co. Ltd. and JohnDow Industries Inc. have agreed to settle patent infringement claims asserted by Continental on May 6, 2016, in U.S. District Court.
The dispute involved U.S. patents covering Continental’s REDI-Sensor. Hamaton and JohnDow will discontinue the manufacture and sale of their current multi-application TPMS sensors by March 30, and will pay Continental an undisclosed sum of money. The parties have agreed to dismiss with prejudice their respective claims and counterclaims against one another. Other details of the settlement remain confidential.
