BETHESDA, Md. The Car Care Council’s “Be Car Care Aware” point-of-sale starter kits contain materials to enhance National Car Care Month celebrations and community car care events throughout the year. The kits can be easily ordered online by visiting www.carcare.org.
“We created the starter kit based on feedback from industry participants to make it easier to plan and execute National Car Care Month community car care events and get involved with the on-going ‘Be Car Care Aware’ consumer education campaign,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “There’s never been a more important time to help motorists understand the benefits of proper vehicle maintenance and how it can help them save in the long run.”
The starter kit includes consumer education brochures, posters, bay banners, mirror hangers, vehicle inspection forms, an English/Spanish countermat and the very popular Car Care Guide. As a bonus, repair shops and parts stores that purchase the kits will be included in the Find-A-Shop locator on the www.carcare.org website.
To help organizations conduct community car care events, the council has launched a new National Car Care Month Toolkit for aftermarket companies and organizations to find everything they need to participate or get involved with National Car Care Month in April. The kit can be found by visiting www.carcareindustry.com.
