Automotive Aftermarket Riders’ Club Hits The ‘Mother Road’ To Support University Of The Aftermarket Foundation

AARC is seeking riders, sponsors and pledges for its ride and plans to donate all proceeds to the foundation.

AARC - Riding for the FutureThe Automotive Aftermarket Riders’ Club (AARC) will embark on its annual Ride for the Future, taking to the “Mother Road” to raise funds for the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. AARC seeks riders, sponsors and pledges for its ride and plans to donate all proceeds to the foundation.

The 2016 AARC Ride for the Future will start from the Las Vegas Harley-Davidson dealership on Thursday, Oct. 27 and head to Prescott, Arizona, via Old Historic Route 66 and will return north along the Colorado River the following day. On Oct. 29, riders will travel to the Grand Canyon to visit the infamous Skywalk, a cantilevered glass walkway extending 70 feet from the rim of the Grand Canyon and overlooking a 2,000 foot drop to its basin, before returning to Las Vegas.

“The Mighty AARC is once again on the move as we hit the ‘Mother Road’ to raise funds for an important cause – industry education and training,” said Bill Maggs, MAAP, treasurer of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and leader of the pack. “We invite all aftermarket professionals to join us for an exciting ride. If you can’t join us, please consider supporting a rider and making a donation to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation.”

Motorcycles can be rented from the Las Vegas Harley-Davidson dealership with an advance reservation.

For more information or to learn how to become a rider or sponsor, contact Mike Mohler, MAAP at [email protected] or visit the AARC Facebook page.

To make a donation directly to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, contact Barbara Cunningham, administrator, at [email protected] or call 816-584-0511.
