Yokohama Tire Corp. Sponsors Three Teams For 2013 Football Season

Indianapolis Colts join the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears on the tire maker's NFL roster.

FULLERTON, Calif. – Yokohama Tire Corp. YTC) has announced its sponsorship lineup for the 2013 NFL season: the New England Patriots, the Chicago Bears and, for the first time, the Indianapolis Colts. YTC’s affiliation with the Bears is in its second year and in its third with the Patriots.

“The teams we’re sponsoring this season are all Super Bowl champions with passionate fan bases,” said Andrew Briggs, Yokohama director, marketing and product planning. “Each is a strong partnership that will increase awareness of Yokohama in their respective markets and help drive more foot-traffic into the showrooms of our local dealers.”

Yokohama will run media advertising across the team’s television platforms. With the Colts, there also will be a social media component, as well as an interactive booth in the fan zone area at their eight home games.

In addition to the Bears, Colts and Patriots, Yokohama’s 2013 sports sponsorship roster includes partnerships with Major League Baseball’s Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Angels and New York Yankees.
