VERSAILLES, Ky. – YH America Inc.’s Sealant Division, a subsidiary of the Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd., is celebrating its 15th anniversary in business. Founded in 1998, YH America Inc.’s Sealant Division manufactures an array of urethane adhesives and primers used for bonding stationary glass windshields, back glass and side glass to automobiles, buses and military vehicles.

YH America Inc. selected Versailles, Ky., as an ideal location to service major North American customers, and the decision has paid off, according to the company. The business has grown into a global operation with Sealant Division customers ranging from OEMs such as Toyota and GM to Honda and Tier I suppliers. This $5.3 million investment will add 12,000 square feet to the plant and will bring new jobs to the local area.

“We are thrilled about this expansion because it means we are successfully satisfying the evolving needs of our customers, and on a global scale," said Al Harrington, YH America Inc. Sealant Division operations manager. “This positions us for future growth so that we can provide exceptional service and support to an even larger customer base.”
