WIX Filters Releases 60 New Product Numbers in the First Quarter of 2008

GASTONIA, N.C. — WIX Filters released 60 new product numbers in the first quarter of 2008, including four new bracketed fuel filters for foreign nameplate applications and 10 new cabin air filters. Also, among the new product numbers are three transmission filters for Dodge, Jeep and Chevrolet trucks.

“At WIX, we continue to push the envelope in the engineering and design of new filtration technologies,” said Jeff Blocher, brand manager for WIX Filters. “Our fill rates lead the industry and we pride ourselves in our coverage for all makes and models of cars, trucks and heavy duty equipment.”

Included in the new numbers are the supercession of the 57314 by two new oil filter numbers, 57312 and 57313, for various Ford Powerstroke and IHC diesel engine applications, and the shift from the 33518 to the new 33818 fuel filters for Ford 7.3L F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks.

Of the 60 new air, cabin air, fuel, oil, transmission and hydraulic filter product numbers released, 12 filters are for heavy duty and off-highway vehicles and 48 filters are designed for automobiles and light truck applications.

“Our goal is to exceed technician expectations for form, fit and function, while increasing performance standards in filtration,” Blocher added. “Since we add new product numbers regularly, customers should visit wixfilters.com for the latest and most up-to-date filter product information and look-up features.”
