Wells Manufacturing L.P. has officially adopted the Wells Vehicle Electronics L.P. name as its corporate identify. The change was made following the recent acquisition of the Wells business by global ignition products manufacturer NGK Spark Plug Co. Wells is a global manufacturer and supplier of advanced vehicle electronics components for automotive OE and replacement applications.

Wells says it introduced the Wells Vehicle Electronics brand in 2010 to reflect the company’s rapid sales growth, expanded product offering and world-class design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

“The Wells Vehicle Electronics brand has enabled us to build upon a strong foundation of industry-leading product design, extensive North American research, development and manufacturing resources and a commitment to the success of our channel partners and professional technicians,” said Wells President David Peace. “By aligning our corporate name with this now firmly established brand, we are positioned for continued growth in each of our product segments.”
