Wells Manufacturing Named Preferred Vendor by Automotive Parts Associates

Wells Vehicle Electronics and Airtex Engine Management brands achieve top status at member-owned cooperative.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Wells Manufacturing announced today it has been named a “Preferred Vendor” by Automotive Parts Associates Inc. (APA), a member-owned cooperative of more than 100 leading replacement parts distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Wells, manufacturer of Wells Vehicle Electronics and Airtex Engine Management products, had previously been an “Approved Vendor” for the distribution network. The company achieved “Preferred” status based on a variety of performance factors, including product quality, brand recognition, shipping performance, marketing programs and technical support.

“Wells is a highly respected supplier and a noted innovator in the engine management category,” said APA President and CEO Dan Freeman. “Our members and their customers have been very pleased with the quality of Wells products and the breadth of their technical support capabilities.”

According to Wells, dozens of APA members currently sell a broad range of Wells products, including ignition, fuel system, emissions and starting/charging system components as well as sensors, switches, relays and other parts. Members and their customers can also utilize Wells’ toll-free technical support hotline, staffed by ASE-certified professional technicians, and Web-based instructional videos and interactive research tools.

“As a member-owned organization, APA maintains an intense focus on growing its business and the loyalty of its customers with the support of the industry’s best manufacturers, brands and products. We are very proud to have earned our place among the premier suppliers partnering with this very successful organization,” said Bill Nonnamaker, vice president, sales and marketing, Wells Manufacturing.
