Kahn Media Inc. has been appointed the public relations agency of record for Weistec Engineering, one of the leaders in Mercedes AMG performance. Based in Anaheim, California, Weistec offers its customers a full range of products and services for all Mercedes AMG models and will be fielding a two-car team in the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge series.
Since its inception in 2010, Weistec Engineering has striven to engineer the most refined and powerful performance parts and complete supercars for Mercedes enthusiasts. From importing and modifying the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 to building the one of the world’s quickest and fastest Mercedes (a CLK63 Black Series that ran 9.16@150mph in the quarter mile), Weistec says it has built a reputation as the premier engineering firm for performance enthusiasts who demand exclusivity, flawless refinement and cutting-edge technology.
“We’ve seen what Kahn Media has been able to do with its other clients and we thought that working with them would be a natural fit. It also helps that the whole company seems to be composed of hardcore car enthusiasts. Kahn Media will work with Weistec to develop a brand strategy that expands its customer base beyond AMG enthusiasts and into the mainstream, expanding its distribution network and promoting its products and vehicles worldwide. Furthermore, Kahn Media will be handling public relations for Weistec’s new racing team, which will field two AMG Customer Sports GT3s in the Pirelli World Challenge series next year.
