“I love the variety of responsibility my job offers; no day is ever the same,” says Rachel Dupras, who just celebrated her 25th year with Tenneco. Having worked in the customer service department early on in her career, she transitioned in 2005 into her current role with the sales team as a program manager for the aftermarket buying groups within DRiV, Tenneco’s aftermarket group.
Along the way in achieving this milestone, Dupras says the relationships built over the years with her co-workers and customers are invaluable. “I’m also proud to be associated with all the other women who were nominated this year and to share their stories and advice with my daughter who is currently pursuing a business degree.”
She offers this advice to other women: “There are so many talented women in the aftermarket; use them a resource. Be confident in your abilities, ask a lot of questions and never pass up an opportunity to learn something new.”
