It should come as no surprise that a Human Resources professional would offer up a lot of great professional advice but when we asked Emily DelBrocco, HR Director Talent Management & HR Operations for Transtar Industries, she really outdid herself. Emily gave us six solid pieces of advice – from believe in yourself, build your network and never stop learning, to seek out mentors and embrace challenges.

DelBrocco joined Transtar in 2021 but began her career in 2014 at Timken supporting Global Sales and Engineering Training and Development. She worked for a private equity company, Q Holdings, that developed and manufactured rubber components for the automotive industry. But it was at Timken that she met her mentor, Anna Gluck, a 2022 Women at the Wheel honoree. “Ev erything that I know today I owe to her. She’s been my coach and mentor throughout most of my career.”
