Claudia Castano’s first exposure to the automotive aftermarket came in 2011, when she began a two-year engagement as an HR consultant for NPW Companies (through the company’s third-party payroll provider). In 2018, COO Chris Pacey asked Castano to build and lead the HR department for NPW, which had expanded its footprint significantly since her consulting engagement ended in 2013.
“It was definitely an exciting opportunity for me professionally,” Castano recalls. Today, she takes great pride in “how far our HR team has come” since its inception. “Our department has been able to flex and support our operations through various acquisitions over the last few years as well as through some challenging times – such as navigating the uncertainty of the pandemic,” Castano says. “Our department’s progression and success are a direct reflection of NPW standing behind its core values and family environment.
