When asked about her career,
Amanda Bischoping’s passion for education
and engagement is highly evident. It is the fuel that drives everything she does as Manager, Education for the Auto Care Association.
While Bischoping can typically be seen managing the details of all of Auto Care’s educational programming at in-person events such as AAPEX and Leadership Days, this past year presented a bit of a challenge as the COVID-19 pandemic shifted everything online. “I’m really proud of the work we’ve done to bring really important, engaging, critical content – especially over the past year – to the industry,” she said. “I’ve just felt so lucky to be a part of our team and to be able to work on new ways to share that content.”
Getting involved and engaged has not only been key to her own appreciation for this industry, but Bischoping also feels it is a key to success for anyone looking to excel in the aftermarket today.
“I’ve really just enjoyed diving into the industry and the amazing engagement,” she said. “I think my advice would be to lean into this industry. It’s full of amazing people. Dive in, get involved. I can only speak from personal experience, but the industry welcomed me with open arms and I’ve been able to learn so much just by getting to collaborate, dive in and work across the industry. I encourage everyone to get involved and stay engaged in the industry as a whole.”
