Visual SKUs Announces Agreement To Resell Ortery Technologies’ Still, 360 And 3-D Product Photography Solutions

This agreement allows Visual SKUs to complement its product photography workflow software with Ortery’s full suite of photography studios.

Visual SKUs - LogoVisual SKUs Inc., a provider of product photography workflow software and services and Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions, has entered into an agreement with Ortery Technologies, a worldwide manufacturer of photography studios. This agreement allows Visual SKUs to complement its product photography workflow software with Ortery’s full suite of still, 360 and 3-D photography studios, offering customers a complete do-it-yourself (DIY) product photography solution.

Visual SKUs provides manufacturers, distributors, retailers and photography studios with product photography workflow and digital asset management solutions. These solutions allow businesses to manage large-scale product photography projects, produce high-quality images and manage and share these images and other digital assets with customers and resellers.

In addition to software solutions for managing and automating the product image production and distribution process, many DIY in-house studios require photography hardware solutions that are capable of producing high-volume still, 360 and 3-D images. To provide customers with a combined software and hardware solution, Visual SKUs embarked on an extensive search for a photography studio hardware provider to partner with. After thoroughly considering all viable options in the marketplace, Visual SKUs says it chose to partner with Ortery Technologies.

Claudio Di Sano, president of Visual SKUs, commented, “Ortery met all our requirements. Their products are well-built, their support is excellent, their product line handles still, 360 and 3-D images, and their customers are happy with how easy their products are to use. Other solutions on the market simply did not stack up. A combined Visual SKUs/Ortery solution is exactly what businesses need.”

“We are delighted to work with Visual SKUs,” said Sam Shearer, managing director, Ortery Technologies. “Their expertise in photography and imaging workflow brings a host of new and exciting options to companies interested in automating their product photography.”

With this partnership, Visual SKUs will offer a complete product photography and digital asset management solution comprised of the following components:

  • VS ACQUIRE, high-volume product photography workflow software, allows customers with DIY in-house product photography studios to easily manage all aspects of their product photography projects including photography, production monitoring and image editing, QA, formatting and distribution.
  • VS DAM (digital asset management software) allows customers to centrally manage their digital assets – products images, PDFs, video, audio and other asset types – and to automate the format and distribution process when sending assets to customers.
  • Ortery Technologies’ high-production product photography studios provide customers the ability to produce high-quality still, 360 and 3-D product images quickly and cost effectively.
