ROBSTOWN, Texas Universal Lubricants, a leader in environmental services, manufacturing and distribution of quality proprietary lubricants, announced the opening of a new distribution and service center in Robstown, Texas. The 3,000-square-foot space was created within the company’s existing Industrial Services facility located at 2203 Tower Road. It is the company’s second expansion in Texas within the past year.
The Robstown facility will serve Universal Lubricants’ new and existing customers in southern Texas. The center will distribute and provide technical support for the company’s branded and proprietary lubricants, including the Dyna-Plex 21C, Universal and Eco Ultra lines of engine oils, greases and transmission fluids. These products are engineered and manufactured specifically for all areas of industry, including heavy-duty construction, trucking, agriculture and mining, as well as passenger cars.
The Robstown expansion comes nearly a year after Universal Lubricants opened a new 52,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Dallas.
"Universal Lubricants is built on a Midwest tradition of service and value," said Rick Palmore, Universal Lubricants’ vice president of distribution and sales. "Lubricants are the lifeblood of every engine or piece of machinery, and our sales reps continue that tradition by offering customers technically-based counsel on everything that relates to lubricants. Texas is a tremendous growth area for our company and we are proud to expand our service capacity to bring premier, high-quality, high-performance products to more local businesses."
