U.S. EPA Climate Protection Partnership and MACS Worldwide Join Forces for Free Mobile A/C Informational Webinars

The first Webinar has been scheduled for 1 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, Dec. 10, and will discuss implications for the mobile A/C community of the proposed Waxman-Markley climate bill currently under congressional consideration and an introduction to Section 609 of the U.S. Clean Air Act of 1990. Section 609 requires all repair technicians who work on mobile A/C systems to recover and recycle refrigerant.

LANSDALE, Pa. — The Climate Protection Partnership division of the U.S. EPA will be partnering with the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide for monthly informational Webinars focused on informing the mobile A/C community on environmental best practices for servicing mobile A/C systems and demystifying current and proposed regulations.
