Trico Products Encourages Drivers To ‘Change Your Clocks, Change Your Blades’

TRICO-logoROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. –Trico Products is promoting routine vehicle maintenance with the TRICO “Change Your Clocks, Change Your Blades” campaign as Daylight Saving Time approaches on Sunday, March 8.

“Safety measures are on top of mind at the start of Daylight Saving Time, so TRICO developed the ‘Change Your Clocks, Change Your Blades’ campaign to highlight wiper blade maintenance and encourage safe driving practices,” said Danielle Orlando, director of brand management at Trico Products. “The harsh winter weather reduces wiper blade effectiveness over time, directly affecting driving visibility. Since springtime offers a natural cue for drivers to think about routine vehicle maintenance, it also makes sense to consider wiper blade needs as the seasons change.”

The company says its TRICO Sentry, a high-performance hybrid wiper blade, is engineered with a unique combination of innovations to maximize visibility. The blade features Dual-Shield hybrid technology, which includes a spring steel-beam structure for better contact and pressure across the entire length of the blade; and a pivoting, high-strength polymer shell that protects the blade components from wind damage, road debris and rusting. Additionally, the side-mount design provides a lower profile for improved wind lift, according to TRICO. Available in lengths from 14 to 28 inches, TRICO Sentry fits 12 leading arm types.
