Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. was recently recognized by Ford Motor Co. as a preferred supplier and has been awarded the prestigious Ford Q1 award. Toyo earned the award in recognition of its superior product quality, high reliability, exceptional materials and dependable supply chain management.
The Ford Q1 award is internationally acknowledged as an indication of extraordinary quality and is only granted to those suppliers that have proven capabilities well beyond ISO/TS16949 automotive certification requirements and meet Ford’s stringent quality standards. In order to qualify for the award, Toyo was required to undergo rigorous audits, ensuring that the company continuously met Ford’s criteria.

Toyo has supplied original equipment tires to Ford since April 2014.
