LAKELAND, FL — A Lakeland, FL, tool supplier is opening its newest distribution center in Fresno, CA. Integrated Supply Network (ISN) will open its ninth center in a 45,000-square-foot building, just outside the city limits. The company — one of the nation’s leading tool suppliers — expects to employ about 15 people.
ISN is a wholesale distributor of automotive equipment and supplies for mobile tool dealers, auto parts stores and manufacturers.
“When we look at extending our range of major cities that can be reached within a one-day drive, Fresno is the logical choice to serve our customers in Southern California,” said Bruce Weber, ISN president. “Our customers will benefit from our enhanced distribution capabilities out of Fresno, and we look forward to solid growth at this location.”
Fresno County economic development officials are pleased with landing the tool supplier. The company was shopping for a site from Bakersfield, CA to Stockton, CA.
“I think it is great for a national firm that has locations all over the country to come to Fresno,” said Delyn Meyers, vice president of corporate locations for the Economic Development Corp. serving Fresno County. “Logistically speaking, this is a very good location for them.”
Meyers expects the company to open its new facility by the end of the month or early next year. ISN stocks more than 20,000 tools, including 250 recognized brands.
