Tenneco Extending Monroe Quick-Strut Advantage with Increased Coverage for 2011

More than 20 new SKUs coming in January; company continues to expand manufacturing capacity to address growing demand.

MONROE, Mich. – Tenneco says it is building on the success of its Monroe Quick-Strut product line with 22 new part numbers covering dozens of popular late-model domestic and foreign-nameplate applications. The Quick-Strut is the aftermarket’s first complete, guaranteed, ready-to-install strut replacement solution, according to Tenneco.

The 22 new part numbers, available in January, will cover a variety of popular Acura, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Pontiac and Volkswagen models.

Tenneco says that each Monroe Quick-Strut assembly represents careful attention to detail in the form of a premium, application-engineered Monroe Sensa-Trac, Reflex, or the new OESpectrum strut, precisely calibrated coil spring, robust bearing plate and other high-quality parts designed specifically for the vehicle. By relying on this solution, technicians have been able to reduce the time needed for a complete strut replacement by up to 50 percent, the company claims. Each component is selected by Tenneco engineers to help restore the vehicle’s original ride and handling characteristics, and every premium Quick-Strut assembly is backed by the company’s limited lifetime warranty.

“The time-saving benefits of Quick-Strut assemblies helped make them an immediate success, but their quality and performance have been the primary reasons for record demand year after year,” said Richard Alameddine, vice president, marketing and engineering, Tenneco. “Doing the job fast is important, but doing it right is the only way to protect your reputation and grow your business. Thousands of automotive professionals across North America trust Monroe to help them do the job right the first time.”
