Tenneco Expands Monroe Ride Control Line

Tenneco Expands Monroe Ride Control Line, Introduces Strut Assemblies For 15.3 Million Additional Vehicles

Monroe Quick-Strut coverage grows to 113 million passenger vehicles.

TennecoQuickStrutTenneco has announced an expansion of its Monroe ride control product line, with more than 307 new parts, including 45 replacement strut assemblies that together cover more than 15.3 million additional passenger vehicles. The company now offers strut assemblies – including premium Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies – for approximately 113 million North American passenger vehicles.

The coverage expansion includes additions to each of the following Monroe ride control product offerings:

  • Premium OESpectrum struts;
  • Quick-Strut assemblies;
  • Econo-Matic strut assemblies;
  • Monro-Matic Plus struts;
  • OESpectrum electronic dampers;
  • Max-Lift gas-charged lift supports;
  • Gas-Magnum Severe Service shocks and struts;
  • Gas-Magnum truck and cab shocks; and
  • Gas-Magnum 65 heavy-duty truck shocks, among others.

The latest additions to the Monroe Quick-Strut line include premium strut assemblies for such popular applications as the 2007-‘12 Nissan Sentra; 2007-‘10 Jeep Compass and Patriot; 2007-‘13 Nissan Altima; 2001-‘02 Acura MDX; 2003-‘05 Honda Pilot; 2008-‘14 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan; 2003-‘07 Nissan Murano; 2006-‘11 Hyundai Azera; 2006-‘10 Hyundai Sonata; 2006-‘11 Ford Focus; 2007-‘09 Lincoln MKZ; and 2002-‘07 Saturn Vue.

Tenneco says it plans to again expand coverage in September with the introduction of several additional Quick-Strut part numbers.

“Our continuing investment in market-leading coverage is just one of several important advantages that come with choosing Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies,” said John Perrin, director of marketing and engineering, North America Aftermarket. “Every Monroe Quick-Strut unit is engineered and manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment ride and handling standards for the corresponding application. Additionally, each assembly is equipped with a premium-quality coil spring featuring U.S.-manufactured steel. These important quality investments are the only way to protect repair businesses and consumers from unwanted performance and reliability issues – and they’re why every Monroe Quick-Strut assembly comes with our limited lifetime warranty.”
