Stant Receives General Motors Supplier Excellence Award

This is a new recognition and award that GM is implementing effective this year. The award is given to specific supplier locations and only GM's top-performing suppliers are eligible to receive this award.

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. – Stant Corp. has announced that two of its manufacturing facilities – one in Connersville, Ind., and one Suzhou, China – are being awarded the General Motors Supplier Excellence Award for 2012.
 
This is a new recognition and award that GM is implementing effective this year. The award is given to specific supplier locations and only GM’s top-performing suppliers are eligible to receive this award. To be considered for the honor, the supplier must have met or exceeded a stringent set of GM quality performance criteria and demonstrated the highest levels of quality performance over the previous 12 months. The 2012 award horizon covers the period from July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2012. Both the Connersville and Suzhou facilities had 0 PPM quality levels during this time.
