Standard Motor Products Receives 2006 Supplier of the Year Award from Pronto

Standard Motor Products was recently recognized as National Pronto Association’s 2006 “Supplier of the Year” for providing outstanding performance and dedication as a key supplier to the shareholders of the National Pronto Association. Standard Motor Products has been a supplier to National Pronto Association for more than 20 years, providing Standard and BWD Engine Management and Wire & Cable, Four Seasons Temperature Control and Hayden Cooling products.

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY — Standard Motor Products was recently recognized as National Pronto Association’s 2006 “Supplier of the Year” for providing outstanding performance and dedication as a key supplier to the shareholders of the National Pronto Association.

“We would like to thank National Pronto Association and their shareholders for supporting and selling our products,” said John Nodson, Standard Motor Products’ director of marketing. “We are truly honored to receive this prestigious award as it recognizes our hard work and dedication to being the very best supplier in the industry.”

Several representatives from Standard Motor Products accepted the 2006 “Supplier of the Year” award during National Pronto Association’s annual fall meeting held recently in Grapevine, TX. They included Garey Lange, director, program distribution; Chuck Grave, regional sales manager; Bob Kimbro, vice president aftermarket sales; Ken Wendling, regional sales manager; and Don Walker, training director.

Standard Motor Products has been a supplier to National Pronto Association for more than 20 years, providing Standard and BWD Engine Management and Wire & Cable, Four Seasons Temperature Control and Hayden Cooling products. Standard was one of the first vendors to sign with National Pronto Association, as well as the original preferred line of Engine Management products, when the group started in 1979.
