SSBC Selects Talking Pictures from Solenium Group for Catalog Management and Publishing

Performance brake system manufacturer and supplier adopts Talking Pictures for efficient, centralized catalog management and publishing.

TORONTO – Solenium Group, a provider of technology solutions and services for the aftermarket industry, today announced that Stainless Steel Brake Company (SSBC) has adopted Talking Pictures, Solenium’s aftermarket content management system (CMS). For the past 35 years, SSBC has supplied the aftermarket with performance brake products.

According to Solenium, SSBC was using multiple systems to store part and application data including their ERP system, various internal databases and spreadsheets distributed throughout the organization, which created significant issues including data duplication, inefficient use of internal resources and unacceptable lead times to create product catalogs.

Solenium says the company chose Talking Pictures for the ease of adding new parts and generating detailed reports, the ability to centralize and share data from a single repository, and the capability to create templates for print catalogs.

Mike Jonas, president of SSBC, commented, “We are very impressed with how easy Talking Pictures makes it to add new catalog data and ensure that the same information is shared by everyone in the organization. This will help us eliminate duplicate data and ensure that data is in sync.”

Beth Mazza, SSBC’s director of marketing, added, “Talking Pictures provides everything we need to publish professional catalogs in a timely manner. In the past, it took us months to create a print catalog but with Solenium’s print templates and other catalog creation features, we will be able to reduce this time considerably.”
