HARTFORD, Conn. — Permatex has announced that its Spray Nine Multi-Purpose Cleaner/Disinfectant is now available at AutoZone. 
The announcement was made by Marsha Whitehead, Permatex marketing manager, who noted, "Spray Nine was chosen by Auto Zone because it is ideal for use by both automotive professionals and do-it-yourselfers in a wide range of interior and exterior automotive applications and shop uses, as well as around the garage and home. We are delighted that we can make it available to our customers nationwide through AutoZone."
AutoZone is offering Spray Nine in a new 32 oz. trigger spray bottle.
Spray Nine is a fast-acting surface disinfectant and multi-purpose cleaner. According to Permatex, the disinfectant kills pandemic 2009 H1N1 Influenza A virus in only 30 seconds and helps protect against other viruses and bacteria. Spray Nine also sanitizes, destroys bacterial odors and reduces cross contamination of germs. As a cleaner, Spray Nine easily tackles dirt, grease and tough soil and controls mold and mildew, the company adds. It is safe to use on vehicle interiors and very effective at removing smoke stains, soil and mildew stains. Spray Nine can remove bug splatter, grease, oil and brake dust from vehicle exteriors. Spray Nine’s water-based formula is safer than solvent-based cleaners, according to the company.
Spray Nine has been a leader in the development and manufacturing of high quality cleaning products since 1948, and takes credit for the industry’s first "spray-on, wipe-off" disinfectant cleaner. It became part of the Permatex program in 2008.
