Spectra Premium Opening New Distribution Center In Greenfield, Ind.

This new distribution center will serve as Spectra's major U.S. hub, and will offer significant improvements by adding increased storage space.

BOUCHERVILLE, Canada – Spectra Premium Industries has announced it is opening a new 250,000-square-foot distribution center located in Greenfield, Ind., 25 miles east of Indianapolis. The opening date is scheduled for June 2013.
 
Spectra says over the years, the company’s customer base and sourcing strategy has expanded, thus presenting the need to better solidify its distribution footprint in the U.S., with a more efficient setup in terms of proximity to its customer base.
 
This new distribution center will serve as Spectra’s major U.S. hub, and will offer significant improvements by adding increased storage space.
 
With the addition of the Indiana facility, Spectra’s distribution footprint will include Greenfield, Ind., servicing the Midwest, South and Southeast; Riverside, Calif., servicing the West and Northwest; and Boucherville, Quebec, servicing the Northeast and Canada.
