RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — Bob Schaffer of Integrated Marketing Solutions will lead a discussion on increasing brand recognition at the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) Small & Medium Manufacturers Council (SMMC). The meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 28, at American Axle in Detroit, Mich., and also on Thursday, April 29, at the Doubletree Hotel O’Hare Rosemont, Chicago.

“Brand recognition is a prime concern for small- and medium-sized aftermarket manufacturers as they compete for market share,” said Paul Parks, manager of membership for AASA and SMMC director. “Shaffer will share his insights with members, giving practical tips for an increasingly competitive marketplace.”

While the SMMC’s Chicago and Detroit meetings will address the same agenda, the Detroit meeting also will include a plant tour by host company American Axle.

The SMMC holds quarterly meetings in Chicago and Detroit to discuss issues of common concern to small- and medium-sized manufacturers, and to provide a forum for open dialogue and peer-problem solving.

Parks has more information about the Small & Medium Manufacturers Council, [email protected] or 919-406-8847.
