FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – Seven leading chassis manufacturers – Dodge, Ford Commercial Truck, General Motors & Commercial Operations, International Truck and Engine Corp., Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Kenworth Truck Co. and Sterling Trucks – have announced that they will unveil new vocational trucks as well as product innovations at The Work Truck Show 2007. Dozens of other exhibitors will also debut new products and technology at the event.

The Work Truck Show 2007 will be held March 7-9, 2007, in conjunction with the 43rd Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention (March 6-9, 2007) at the Indiana Convention Center & RCA Dome in Indianapolis, IN.

“As the largest work truck event in North America, The Work Truck Show offers 450 exhibiting companies an unparalleled opportunity to display and demonstrate their latest developments to their distributors and to end-users,” said Tom Rawson, NTEA convention chairman. “As a result, work truck and equipment buyers from diverse industries can see and compare new products from a wide range of suppliers in one location.”

New products scheduled to debut at The Work Truck Show 2007 include: truck chassis, control systems, portable power systems, vehicle shelving, shrink tube connectors, plasma cutters, vocation-specific cranes, winch system grille guards and shop management software, just to name a few.

Attendees are invited to vote for what they consider to be the most innovative product introduced through the New Product Spotlight program. Ballots for this New Product Innovation Award will be distributed with badges on site.

A number of companies will also display advances in hybrid and alternative fuel technologies. Many of these products will be grouped together in the special “Stepping into the Future Pavilion.” International Truck & Engine Corp., sponsor of a Hybrid Truck and Alternative Fuels Summit on Tuesday, March 6, will show its latest hybrid offering during a Networking Reception that follows the Summit.

The Work Truck Show brings together thousands of truck fleet managers, truck buyers and maintenance personnel from Class 1-8 markets with hundreds of the manufacturers, distributors and dealers that produce the trucks and equipment critical to their work. In this single location, attendees check out the latest full-size work trucks and equipment while examining individual vehicle components. The convention and trade show are open to anyone who uses work trucks and equipment in their businesses.
