Seminar Offers Cost Savings Solutions for Automotive Suppliers In Three Key Challenging Areas

The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) is presenting a three-day seminar series to offer cost saving solutions to automotive suppliers on Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 16-18, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Dearborn, MI.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) is presenting a three-day seminar series to offer cost saving solutions to automotive suppliers on Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 16-18, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Dearborn, MI.

The seminar series will address three of the most important issues facing the automotive supplier industry:

  • Aug. 16- Taking Cost Out of Healthcare
  • Aug. 17 – Supply Chain Efficiencies and Cost Savings
  • Aug. 18- Pricing Strategies and Margin Improvements

Presenters will include SAS Institute, UPS Automotive Supply Chain Solutions, McKinsey & Company, Ryder Logistics, Marsh/Mercer, GainSystems and more. Suppliers will also share best practices in a panel discussions.

Each day-long event will focus on best practices, innovations for cost savings, technology advancement and applicable solutions for manufacturing organizations as well as address issues that challenge the revenue growth in business today.

The cost for one day attendance is $250. Member companies which register for all three days pay $650. With the three-day registration, an organization can have one individual attend all three seminars or send different individuals to each event.

AASA was created in 2002 by the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) as its aftermarket market segment association to exclusively serve manufacturers of aftermarket components, tools and equipment and related products.
