DIAMOND BAR, CA — The SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) Select Committee has added two new members. SEMA Board member Steven Bolio, partner in Scafidi-Bolio & Associates in Waltham, Mass., and Claudine McDermott, president of CTM MEDIA, Inc. in Larchmont, N.Y., were appointed to the 15-member committee by SBN chairman Terry Kohl.

Bolio has spent more than four decades in the automotive industry — the last 14 years as a manufacturers’ representative. Last year, he was honored as the SEMA Person of the Year, the first manufacturers’ representative to receive this designation. The first male member of the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network, Bolio is also the first man named to its steering committee.

McDermott has more than 14 years of experience in television-advertising media planning. Her company assists its clients with their television advertising programs, tracking ad sales, affiliate sales, and programming.

The SBN is a SEMA committee dedicated to enhancing the professional growth of businesswomen in the specialty automotive equipment industry. Its Mentor/Mentee program is available to all women working within a SEMA-member company. The Network’s annual breakfast held during the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas honors men and women in the industry with the Athena and the Woman of the Year awards.

More information about the Network and its programs is available at: www.sema.org/sbn.
