Cummins Components Group President Rick Mills to Retire in March
Rick Mills, president of the Cummins Components Group, will retire at the end of March 2008, after more than 36 years with Cummins Inc. Rich Freeland, president of the Distribution Business, will assume Mills’ role as leader of the Components Group, while Pamela Carter, president of Cummins Filtration, a business within the Components Group, will become head of the Distribution Business. Carter’s successor will be named in the near future.
TI Automotive to Build New Plant in Mexico
TI Automotive, a supplier of fully integrated fluid storage and delivery systems, plans to build its seventh manufacturing plant in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The new 60,000-square-foot facility will employ 400 people and will produce brake and fuel lines for automotive assembly plants in North America. The plant is expected to open this summer.
