Ford, UAW To Bring Career Academies To Detroit
Ford, in collaboration with the UAW, plans to add four career academies in Detroit. By 2020, Ford expects to have 20 academies serving 7,000 students in cities where the company has assembly plants, as well as elsewhere in the U.S.
Collision Repair Education Foundation’s 2015 Cars, Careers & Celebrities Event To Be Held At Chicagoland Speedway
As a follow-up to the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s 2014 inaugural Cars, Careers, & Celebrities event, which raised more than $200,000 for the organization, the 2015 event will be held on Sept. 18 at the Chicagoland Speedway (Joliet, Ill.) in conjunction with the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup taking place that weekend.
