TireHub To Enter Two More Markets
The centers will be located in Lakeville, Minnesota, and Columbia, South Carolina, both new markets for TireHub. Opening dates for each center will be announced in the future.
TIA Re-Energizing Environmental Advisory Council
During a conference call earlier this summer, the council developed a new EAC mission statement, which is: “To identify recycled manufactured products and environmentally sustainable practices within the tire and rubber industry and promote them through outreach (community, industry, stakeholder) and education.”
TIA Elects Five Board Members
The new directors will take office on Monday, Nov. 4, during the annual membership meeting at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. They will join an additional 13 directors to make up the association’s 18-member board.

TIA Announces Nominees For 2019 Board Of Directors Election
Voting is open to all eligible TIA members in good standing. Online voting will open Monday, July 15. Election materials will be mailed to the primary contacts at all eligible TIA member companies. The results of the election will be announced in mid-September with the new board members taking office on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 at TIA’s annual meeting during the Global Tire Expo in Las Vegas.
TireHub Enters New Market Within First Year Of Operations
TireHub launched in July 2018 and operates 69 logistics centers in the U.S. As with all existing locations, customers in Ft. Myers will have access to the full passenger and light truck tire product lines from the Goodyear and Bridgestone companies, including Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Firestone, Fuzion, Kelly and LeMans, as well as Toyo and select Goodyear and Kelly commercial tires.
