Meritor WABCO Introduces First Collision Safety System with Active Braking for North American Commercial Vehicles

Meritor WABCO Vehicle Control Systems has introduced a new technology designed to further improve commercial vehicle safety. Called OnGuard, this industry-first technology is a forward-looking, radar-based adaptive cruise control system with active braking for commercial vehicles in North America. It is currently installed on nearly 200 vehicles and is targeted for third quarter 2008 availability as a factory-installed option at several OEM brands.

Bosch Expands Automotive Electronics Engineering Capacity with New Michigan Technical Center

Bosch has opened a new technical center in Plymouth Township, MI, to enhance and expand its engineering and development capacity.
