GAAS Scholarships Awarded to 145 Students
The Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) continues its work to ensure a strong future talent pool for automotive aftermarket companies and service outlets through its highly successful scholarship program. A total of 145 students will receive $1,000 GAAS scholarships in 2004, with the majority of recipients entering automotive vocational-technical programs, which will help address the critical shortage of automotive technicians.
LKQ Corp. Announces First Quarter 2004 Results
LKQ Corp. has reported results for its first quarter, which ended on March 31. The company reported revenues of $100.1 million and net income of $5.6 million, representing growth over the first quarter of 2003 of 26.3 percent and 43 percent, respectively.
ASAAA Announces Its Support for Right to Repair Act
The Alliance of State Automotive Aftermarket Associations (ASAAA) has issued a statement announcing its support for HR 2735, The Motor Vehicle Owners Right to Repair Act.
